<strong>Stay on marked trails.</strong> Off-trail riding is illegal without the landowner's permission and can lead to fines. Kittilä and the Levi area have almost 900 km of legal routes, there's no need to leave them.

A forest loop on Ounasvaara, the fell directly across the Kemijoki river from Rovaniemi city centre. Gentle gradients and sheltered forest trails make it the classic first ride before a longer safari.
